Emily C. Jeffcott was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She attended the University of Houston, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree. During her undergraduate experience, Emily obtained many accolades including induction into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Emily earned her juris doctorate at St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. During law school, Emily excelled academically achieving membership in the Phi Delta Phi honor society and was selected to be the Executive Articles Editor for The Scholar.
In addition to her law review experience, Emily participated in St. Mary's nationally recognized External Moot Court Advocacy Program as an oralist and brief writer. Garnering many awards, Emily was named the 2009 Third Best Advocate in the United States by the American Bar Association. As a result of Emily's advocacy successes, she was inducted into the Order of the Barristers and received St. Mary's top advocacy award: the Patricia L. Scott Award.
After graduation law school in 2009, Emily joined Watts Guerra Craft, LLP and specializes in complex products liability, commercial litigation and negligence actions.
