Shalimar Simon Wallis was raised in El Paso, Texas. She graduated from Texas Christian University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Spanish. Ms. Wallis attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas where she earned her Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, in 2001. While attending Law School, Ms. Wallis participated in the nationally recognized South Texas College of Law Moot Court program under the direction and instruction of Dean T. Gerald Treece. Additionally, she was named on the Dean’s List and served as a Director of the Board of Advocates. Ms Wallis attended several national tournaments and finished her law school career undefeated in competitive moot court tournaments, winning three National Championships for South Texas College of Law.

Shalimar joined the predecessor firm of Watts Guerra Craft LLP upon graduation from law school in May of 2001. Her practice focuses on product liability, commercial litigation and civil litigation, which has resulted in significant recoveries for her clients since she began practicing in 2001. She is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Texas and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Southern and Western District of Texas. Shalimar was recognized as a “Rising Star” by Texas Monthly in 2007. She is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA), the Attorneys’ Information Exchange Group (AIEG), Texas Bar Association, the San Antonio Bar Association, San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association and the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association. She has served as a Director and Vice-President for the San Antonio Trial Lawyers’ Association. Shalimar is fluent in written and spoken Spanish.
