Christopher V. Goodpastor earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin in 1990 with studies in the Chemical Engineering Honors Program. He graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 1994, where he served as Managing Editor of The Review of Litigation and Chief Notes Editor of Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal.

Upon graduation from law school, Christopher joined the commercial litigation section of Fulbright & Jaworski in Houston, Texas and later served in the securities litigation section of Morrison & Foerster in San Francisco, California. In 1999, he returned to Austin, Texas where he served as Vice President, External Affairs and Assistant General Counsel for Covad Communications, Inc. and as Chief Legal Counsel for Trinsic Communications, Inc.

Christopher joined Watts Guerra Craft LLP in 2007. His litigation experience includes general commercial litigation, antitrust litigation, securities litigation, telecommunications litigation and regulation, patent litigation, international litigation, breach of contract, business torts, class action litigation and products liability.

Christopher is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Texas and California, the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Fifth and Ninth Circuits, the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas and the Northern District of California. Christopher is a member of American Bar Association (ABA), the Austin Bar Association, and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA).
